Application of refractory fiber products on furnace

     Refractory fiber product is a lightweight and efficient thermal insulation material. Compared with traditional thermal insulation materials, it has the following advantages:

     a. Low density: Ceramic fiber furnace lining is more than 75% lighter than insulation brick furnace lining and 90% to 95% lighter than light castable furnace lining. If furnace lining is refractory fiber products, the steel structure load of the kiln can be greatly reduced, and the service life of the furnace body can be prolonged.

     b. Low heat capacity (heat storage): The heat capacity of refractory fiber products is only about 1/10 of the light heat-resistant lining and light castable lining, and the heat capacity of the furnace lining material is directly proportional to the weight of the furnace lining. The low heat capacity has a very significant energy saving effect when start-up and shutdown of the heating furnace.

     c. Low thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity of the furnace lining made of refractory fiber products is 1/10 of the lightweight heat-resistant lining, and the thermal insulation effect is significant.

     d. Convenient construction: no expansion joints need to be left in the construction process, and the construction staff can go to work after basic training.

     e. Excellent thermal shock resistance and mechanical vibration performance: The fiber blanket and module are flexible and elastic. Under the premise that the heated body can withstand, the furnace lining of the fiber folding module can be heated or cooled at any fast speed without being damaged.
