Application of refractory ceramic fiber products on furnace lining

     The application of refractory ceramic fiber products to furnace lining has become a trend in the development of high-temperature kiln furnaces, which represents the level of modernization of industrial furnaces. The use of refractory ceramic fiber products as furnace lining materials directly determines the performance of furnace , product quality and output.

Application of refractory ceramic fiber products on furnace lining

     1. Overview of flat-top tunnel kiln: The pulverized coal brick kiln is a tunnel kiln that heats and fires the wet green brick made from coal gangue or shale to finally form a finished brick. The length of pulverized coal brick kiln is generally more than 140 meters, and its width can be  3.3 meters, 3.6 meters, 4.6 meters, 6.9 meters etc. The working conditions of the firing section are as follows:

     a. Long-term working temperature is 950 ℃, and the maximum working temperature is 1000 ℃ ~ 1050 ℃.

     b. 1200 ℃ high temperature firing section ( should be calculated according to the worst theoretical working conditions); can be calculated on site, calculate the temperature of the furnace outer wall according to the maximum working temperature in the furnace, the thickness of the ceramic fiber module on the hot surface layer, and the total insulation thickness . Normal working temperature in high temperature section is ≤1050 ℃. Adopting high-aluminum ceramic fiber module with long-term working temperature of 1200 ° C can fully meet the working requirements of the conversion furnace and ensure a good service life. The backing blanket has a large temperature drop because it is far away from the hot surface, and the ordinary refractory ceramic fiber products with a long-term working temperature of 950 ° C can meet the requirements.

     c. Low temperature section, below 650 ℃: The ordinary refractory ceramic fiber products with long-term working temperature of 950 ℃ can meet the requirements.
