The factors influence the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal conductivity

CCEWOOL ceramic fiber cloth is a good thermal insulation material, be popular in many industry and filed, like foundry, metallurgy, cement, ceramics, glass furnace, heat treatment furnace etc.. Thus the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal conductivity is the key point to judge the quality.

We know that CCEWOOL ceramic fiber cloth raw material is aluminium silicate fiber, when the density is interphase, the thermal conductivity will be higher. So the first factory effect the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal conductivity is density. The lower the density, the lower the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal conductivity, when the density lower to a certain extent, the thermal conductivity will becoming higher with the decrease of density. Thus, we can say that the thermal conductivity is small but the thermal diffusivity is high.

Secondly, the second factor which effect the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal conductivity is humidity. Ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal diffusivity will become lower when get damp.

The last factor which effect the ceramic fiber cloth’s thermal diffusivity is hot - line heat flux.Put simply, fiber all parallel or vertical, the thermal conductivity will be higher. If the fibers is crisscross, the heat won’t lose,so the heat insulation effects is good.
