     In the last issue, we mainly talked about the performance analysis and application of refractory ceramic fiber products. In this issue, we continue to introduce the construction method of refractory ceramic fiber products for ring furnace transformation.

Construction method of refractory ceramic fiber products for ring furnace transformation

     In the refurbishment project of the ring furnace lining, the top wall lining and the wall lining of the furnace are laid with refractory ceramic fiber modules. The total insulation thickness is 350mm, of which the flat layer is 20mm thick aluminum silicate fiber of standard type.The furnace roof should be laid with zirconium-containing aluminum silicate fiber module(made by spinning fiber) of 330mm thickness. The furnace wall should be laid with 360mm high-purity aluminum silicate fiber module. Module arrangement should be in the same direction along the circumferential direction. 

     The fiber blanket of the same material should be folded into "U" shape and compressed between module rings to compensate for the shrinkage between modules at high temperature. During the installation process, the compression amount of the compensation bar needs to meet the design requirements, and the compensation fiber blanket must be fixed with "U" shape heat-resistant steel nails.

     The refractory ceramic fiber products used for furnace roof and furnace wall are all shaped modules. Although it is hard to produce these modules, its structure is reasonable. And the overall insulation effect of furnace lining is guaranteed. So this structure is worthy of in depth research, promotion and application.
