Construction scheme of cement kiln with insulation calcium silicate board

Last issue we introduced the cautions in the construction of insulation calcium silicate board for cement kiln. In this issue, we will continue to introduce the construction of insulation calcium silicate board in cement kiln.

Construction of insulation calcium silicate board

1. Before construction of insulation calcium silicate board, the specification of calcium silicate board should be carefully checked to make sure it is in consistent with the design. Particular care must be taken to prevent the use of low refractoriness for high refractoriness.

2. When the insulation calcium silicate board is pasted on the furnace shell, the insulation calcium silicate board is firstly processed in a desired shape to minimize the gap caused by the shackles. After processing, the adhesive is evenly coated on the insulation calcium silicate board, then the board is pasted on the furnace shell, and squeeze the board by hand to remove air, so that the board is in close contact with the furnace shell. The insulation calcium silicate board should not be moved after it has been built. And should avoid damage to the insulating calcium silicate board caused by knocking or squeezing during construction.

3. The insulation calcium silicate board should be processed with hand saw or chainsaw. It is forbidden to use a trowel to cut the calcium silicate board.

4. When the refractory material is poured under the insulation calcium silicate board which is built on the top cover. In order to avoid the peeling off of insulation calcium silicate board before the adhesive takes effect, the wire can be bundled on the nail to fix the insulation calcium silicate board first.

5. When double-layer insulation calcium silicate board is built, it should be laid in staggered way.
