Precautions for the construction of insulation ceramic fiber module lining

     Insulation ceramic fiber module is produced by cutting ceramic fiber blanket cut into pieces, then folding and compressing the blanket into a fixed size. Because it is a ceramic fiber blanket compressed molding, the modules themselves can be extruded under high temperature, which improves the tightness of the ceramic fiber lining, and has a strong resistance to flue gas corroding and scouring (when the flue gas speed is less than 25 m/s).

     Construction time of insulation ceramic fiber module lining is relatively short. Generally, the lining installation can be finished within a week; the installation can be carried out under rain-proof conditions at any temperature. The installed lining does not require maintenance and drying, which can greatly shorten construction period. After recent years of application, it is generally believed that the ceramic fiber module has the strongest adaptability and higher reliability, making it the first choice for ceramic fiber linings of furnace.

     When installing insulation ceramic fiber module lining, it is necessary to strictly follow the construction design requirements. Besides that, we must also pay attention to the following 5 key points: 

     1. Anchor nail welding

     1.1 When wiring, must take the center line of the furnace wall plate as the reference, and route to both sides, and mark the bolt position strictly in accordance with the design drawing. The cumulative error of the size that may occur in the actual wiring is shown in the position of the last row of bolts.

     1.2 The anchor nails must be welded perpendicular to the furnace wall, the deviation of the adjacent center distance of the bolts is ≤2mm, and the deviation of any two spacings is ≤±3mm.

     1.3 Attention must be paid to protect the thread of anchor bolts.

     1.4 The welding must be firm. After the welding is completed, check the welding quality by hammering and bending one by one to clear the welding slag.
