Main types of modern industrial tunnel kilns are flat-top tunnel kiln, three-center vault tunnel kiln and vault tunnel kiln. In the past, the tunnel kilns were mostly constructed with refractory bricks and insulation layer. With the popularization and application of ceramic fiber insulation module, thermal performance of tunnel kilns are being improved gradually.
1. Kiln top insulation.
The ceramic fiber insulation module is made of ceramic fiber blanket and processed on special machinery according to the structure and size of the fiber component. During the processing, a certain amount of compression is maintained to ensure that after the ceramic fiber insulation module wall lining is completed, ceramic fiber insulation module can expand in different directions, so that the ceramic fiber insulation modules will be squeezed into a seamless whole. Ceramic fiber insulation modules can be directly fixed to the steel furnace shell by anchors.
